The Marketing Contract may be purchased in addition to the technical support contracts.
What is the Marketing contract?
The marketing contract is a full and complete content, keyword, positioning review and market analysis.
Can I guarantee a Number one position on Google? - Yes. But it may not be on an effective keyword. For instance if you have a site called 'Boobablong Boats' I can very quickly make you number one for 'Bobalong Boats' but not necessarily for 'Boat Makers'.
the fact is that the positioning of the site depends on a huge number of factors and the quoted price of £200-£300 per month may not be sufficient to get you to the top of the rankings.
Can I get you to the top eventually? - Yes
How long will it take? - Depends on the market, competition, search engines and the budget
What will I get for my money? - First you would get a full review of the market, current competitors and a list of what is needed to achieve a good positioning on the search engines. You will also get a review of the site including navigation ease, functionality and response criteria. Then you would invoiced on a monthly basis to update the content according to prevailing marketing conditions in line with Search Engine rules and guidelines, content sourced and written for you to enhance the site and the site evaluated regularly to ensure direction and results. In addition we review links an obtain quality links and put measures into place that we know to be effective.
Can I do it myself? - Yes. It took me 12 years to learn all that I know, but there is no reason that you could not achieve this yourself.
Why so expensive? - the price is based on the amount of work needed to effectively market a website. The top websites in most professions have dedicated marketing staff doing this work daily.
What if you do not make a difference? - If I were to have full control and complete access to your site there would be a definative and clearly defined improvement to your positioning and web marketing programme.
However, I cannot make a guarantee should you also try to carry out your own marketing strategies in tandem. The fact is, the work I carry out on your site will make a big difference, the real issue is over what timescale.
For all sites I can guarantee improvement within a 3 month period, and that is usually the first review mark, where you can choose to continue or stop.
Others promise top ten rankings or your money back. Do you offer the same? - No.
I am not that stupid nor naive. Search engines regularly change their algorithms and techniques to combat search engine marketeering tactics. They want natural sites to appear where they should be because of how good they are and how the internet rates them and not through tricks or expolitation.
Most of these offers have small print attached and I know of no other well established professional marketing company that offers such a ludicrous deal.
